Nick Massoth was born on Christmas Day in 1972. He was raised within a musical family where every member
plays at least one musical instrument.
Nick's father, Harry Massoth ia an accomplished jazz trombonist and played big band jazz at the Nugget Casino for thirteen years.

He played with such greats as Sammy Davis Junior and Buddy Rich. Nick began drumming at the early age of seven when his Aunt Francis gave him a floor tom for his birthday.
For the next several years, he was given an additional drum until he had aquired an entire drum kit.

At age 15, Nick began playing in organized rock bands starting first with the group Rottweiler then progressing through other various high school and college groups including, Free Style, Acid Groove, Rancid Urban Lunch Meat, Nick and the Nice Guys, Wood and Steel, Public Service, and Trash Can Fetus.

Nick's drumming style has been influenced by bands such as Anthrax, Megadeth, Metallica, The Red Hot Chile Peppers, Van Halen, as well as Jazz great Buddy Rich.
Nick has played with Blindfury since June of 2007. He utilizes double kick patterns and the driving metal beats that Blind Furys' music demands. Aside from playing drums, Nick's other
accomplishments include six seasons as wildland fire fighter and a career as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with an emphasis on the treatment of facial injuries.
